Painted Petals Sneek Peak

Had so much fun with this stamp set and I am sure you will too!  Such a simple layout, used Garden Green and Cameo Coral with words in black.  Sparkled the dots and the center of the flowers with Dazzle Diamonds.  Hope you enjoy!

Framed Gift

I saw a sample of this on Pinterest and just had to try it myself using my favorite stamp set Kinda Eclectic. These turned out so well, that I made them for Christmas Gifts.   All supplies are Stampin' Up unless otherwise noted.

Stamps:  Kinda Eclectic, Papillon Potpourri, and a new Occasions 2015 set called Painted Petals
Paper:  Very Vanilla, Espresso
Ink:  Espresso and Crumble Cake, Soft Suede for the words, Baja Breeze for the butterflies (Baja Breeze is retired, but wanted to use up the ribbon).
Accessories:  Small and Large Butterfly Punches, a few pearls, and a ribbon. Purchased the frame from Michael's, I saw a similar one at Walmart.

'Tis the Season

November 13, 2014 Class Card

Just can't get enough Christmas and it's not even Thanksgiving.

  • Stamps:  Many Merry Stars, Mingle All The Way (inside words)
  • Ink:  Lost Lagoon
  • Paper:  All is Calm DSP, White, Soft Sky, Lost Lagoon, Silver Glimmer
  • Accessories:  Fun Frames, Tree Punch, Silver 1/8" ribbon
TIP:  Hand cut the frame (it's easy).  Use Score Tape or glue to attached glimmer paper (seems like it has a slick back).  Pop dot the tree to glimmer paper. Glue dot the bow.

Happy Stamping!

Star Card

November 13, 2014 Class Card

Love making cards!  And you can never have to much embossing.  This card is just stunning.
  • Stamp:  Bright and Beautiful
  • Ink:  Versa Mark
  • Card Stock:  Vanilla, Night of Navy, Gold Glimmer for the star
  • Accessories:  Framelit Stars, Punch Pack Star, Gold Embossing Powder, Gold Satin Ribbon
  •  TIP:  The stars are raised up with dimensionals

Christmas Cheer

November 13, 2014 - Class

Filigree Frame

This card is folded on the left side, makes it much easier to get the EF centered on the card stock.  Enjoy!

Stamps:  Cheerful Christmas

Paper:  White

Ink:  Real Red, Garden Green

Accessories:  Filigree Frame EF, Red Stickles

Tip:  Stamp the whole image in Real Red.  Remove the red on the pine branches with a cloth. Color the pine branches with a Garden Green marker and touch up any red areas with a maker.  Huff on the image then stamp.  Makes the writing very vivid.

Used the bulbs for the inside, using bakers twine as the hanger. Sometimes I take as much time for the inside as the outside of cards.

Wonderful Christmas

Wonderful Christmas - Class Sample

Had a great class yesterday.  Had not played with Encore Ink in a long time and I really do love the effect, soft.

Stamps:  Festival of Trees (Snow and Trees)
  Wondrous Wreath (Words)
  Many Merry Stars (Snowflakes)

  • Paper:  White, Night of Navy, Silver Glimmer

  • Ink:  Night of Navy, Encore Silver

  • Accessories:  2” Circle punch, Tree Punch, Punch pack for the Star

  • Tip:  Use a post-it note and punch circle making sure you leave a little sticky on the circle and attached the circle to the white c/s.  Use the circle as a guide to center the circle on the white c/s and punch it out.  Use the remainder of the post-it note to mask the navy when making the snow.  Use the white circle that you punched earlier, cut the snow drift.  Use the scrap to punch small trees using the Tree punch.

White base 11 x 4-1/4 – scored at 5-1/2
Night of Navy 2-3/4 x 4-1/4
White 2-1/2 x 4
