Stolen Technique

I stole this technique for using glitter from a good friend.  You mix on container "Heat and Stick Powder" and one container "Dazzling Diamonds" and cover image with Versa Mark and apply the mixed powder and then just heat and your glitter won't come off....I promise.

Abundant Hope

I watercolored on shimmer white cardstock.  The picture doesn't do it justice.  Love watercoloring!  The Abundant Hope page 24 and Well Scripted page 19 are in the Occasions Mini Catalog.  Remember Sale-A-Bration ends March 31.
Thanks for stopping by!

Spring Song

The Spring Song stamp set is on of the Sale-A-Bration "free" sets and here are a few samples I did using the coloring on vellum technique.  I am practicing using designer series paper on all my cards, I like you tend to purchase paper and have a uncontrollable need to save it.  Enjoy

Circle Circus

Had a lot of fun using this quirky set.  Mixed up colors I don't normally use; elegant eggplant, pumpkin pie, lovely lilac, summer sun, and more mustard.  I used rub ons for the words.  A really easy card to make.

Linda Karr is Back

Sorry for not posting on my website for such a long time, seems like life just got in my way for a while.  Stamp'in Ups Sale-A-Bration is in full swing until March 31.  For those of you who are not familiar with Sale-A-Bration, it is when you spend $50 in any combination of merchandise in the "Occasions Mini Catalog or the 2009-2010 Idea Book and Catalog" you can make a selection from the Sale-A-Bration catalog.  It's Stamp'in Ups way of saying thank you.

If you don't have a copy of the above mention catalogs call me and we can get together and I can walk you through all the new products (928-726-6728).  The stamp sets in the Occasions Mini are being offered in wood or clear mount styles.  Yahoo!  Also, the punches have been redesigned to make storage simpler.

Is there something you would like to see used?  Call me and maybe we can set up a workshop around what you'd like to learn.

MGBY (May God Bless You!)

Cheer's to You

The stamp set is "Cheer's to You" and can be found in the big catalog, page 64,  No. 114944.  My friend Sandy K. challenged me to create a few cards using this set and here they are.  I plan on playing with this one some more so keep watching my blog.  The "Beer Mug" cards inside uses a spiral with mugs attached to set it off.  Sorry no picture of the inside.  I again used my favorite puches the Word Window and the Modern Label (page 186/187 in the catty.)

Happy Birthday

I am so addicted to embossing folders (Elegant Bouquet 115964) and the sand technique.  Sometimes I forget how much fun it is to make quick and cute cards.  Love the new In Colors this year!

More Easter

Eggcoutrements is the stamp set (118556), it's in the Occassions Mini.  The embossing folder is a must have Elegant Bouquet (115964).  The words are a new set called Well Scripted (118601) also in the Occassions Mini.  Just added a little glitter and turned out to cute.

Easter Card

Used a new technique to make this adorable easle card.  Used the brayer to emboss an embossing folder and ran it through the "Big Shot" and wow.  What more can I say.  I just love the way it looks.  Thanks again for looking!

Shades of Spring Designer Series Paper

Using the Designer Series Paper "Shades of Spring" page 25 in the Ocassions Mini Catalog, it was easy to create these three extraordinaty cards.   Thanks for looking!  Linda

Kicking it Up a Notch

The first cards sample is very basic; but by using an embossing folder and sanding off the high side and adding a velum overlay to the butterfly it changes the look completely. Have you tried the new "Embosslit Die - Beautiful Wings" page 24 of the Ocassions Mini Catalog. So easy to use. Enjoy!

Under the Stars

Just playing around and created this card for my youngest grandson.  I just love the google eyes.  The stamp set is "Under the Stars" on page 89 of the big catalog.
This sample is also using "Under the Stars".  My grandkids love "S'mores", so the inside of the card says, "And Many S'more!"  I also advised them that next time they come over we will make them.  Thanks for looking.

I'm Back

Sorry to all of my followers for ignoring you for so long.  Sometimes life just gets in the way of my stamping time.  My family is finally settled into their new home and I have my life back.  Thanks to all of you who have been so supportive during this time.
